Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup or 128g ketchup

  • 1/2 cup or 128g tomato sauce

  • 1/3 cup or 83ml red wine vinegar

  • 1/8 cup or 32ml molasses (unsulfured)

  • 1/3 cup or 63g dark brown sugar

  • 1/8 tsp onion powder

  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder

  • Pinch of chili powder

  • Dash of allspice

  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1/8 tsp celery seed

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp hickory flavored liquid smoke

  • 1/2 tbsp or 7g butter (unsalted)

Preparation

1.Combined all the ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat.  Mix well bring to a lite simmer and lower heat and reduce for 20 minutes until nice and thick.
